Looking back at jordan; the culture, the music, the people we said our farewells and off we went. I thought the move would look smooth like this. what I didn't know was that I had a whole lot of shock coming my way.
It was quite the transition. This new environment meant we had to adapt. This put a rift in my identity. with new stimulus, new cultural norms, I had to become a cultural chameleon. no longer connecting to my native culture, and not accepted in this new culture, I had to adopt the 3rd culture with a side of escapism.

this was an integral part in my creative development, all this content consumption, analysis from movies, to photos, especially music, and trying to find my identity helped me archive a lot of inspiration, dreams, and new speculative worlds to vacation in.

Throughout this time in high school, i was participating in the band, playing the trumpet and trombone, taking art classes, and creating videos for the student council. These were not things that i acknowledged as a part of my creative basis, but looking back, they definitely played a role.
